Camera

Have been really slack and not used my camera for a very long time, so with the new year coming up I'm going to make sure I start using it! Realised I have not been away for a while either, this picture was taken in Dubrovnik which was one of the key holidays from this year. Booked New York for May 2012 which is something to look forward to. X

Tokyo II

Just come back from a week of working in Tokyo, much easier second time round, actually managed to find my way round the place and the underground which is usually quite challenging! This time round the weather was much colder, around 5 degrees but sunshine everyday. Could see Mount Fuji from the office canteen, certainly different from Burgess Hill!

Tokyo

Tea ceremony at Happyoen Gardens. The tea was a thick concoction of well being - managed three sips and then could not drink anymore. Was a lovely experience though. Tokyo and Japan is full of customs and traditions, very interesting to see. So many people!

Cuba come down

Not sure what happened to my being positive resolution. Cuba was great, now back to the daily grind of work, work work. No pleasing, always wanting more and more, demanding customers are not easy. So I feel like having a whinge! But hopefully it will blow over and I'll be ok for the weekend. Another friend getting married - think that has added to my feeling sorry for myself state. I'm the last one left. On the shelf. Like a mouldy grape.

Travel Bug

Been thinking about my future a lot recently & realise I can influence it. Do I stay in B/H, rotting away with the old crew where there is no sign of new friendships being forged and be part of the flaking furniture or do I push myself to take a risk and move out to see more of what the world has to offer?? Do I dare to move to another country even, all on my own?? What will I do with my weekends?? Oh the fear but also the excitement of the potential - the opportunities - the adventure - the new everything. The options are there, I just need to decide!

Green Festival

Went to a festival in Hastings today which included all sorts of activities based around green jack/pegans. Procession, followed by morris dancing and drumming. Very good for taking interesting photos with people in them, a bit bored of flowers now!
